Honey Dipped Productions presents Hypnagogic Garden’s inaugural music video, COWBOY BLUE. Directed, shot, and edited by Ellie Gravitte. Starring Jewel Brown and featuring Helen Huettner. Is it ever too late to come back around? 

 

This lusciously saturated video features choreography by lead actress Jewel Brown, and follows the torrid love story of two queer women at the end of a relationship. With greater representation for queer women comes further exploration into what makes these relationships both unique and universal. Gravitte’s camera moves with a centripetal force around Brown throughout the video, allowing the movements of the main character to be the driving force of the story. This is what it looks like when queer women tell their own stories.
